Our Staff

The management and staff at Jacaranda Nursery wish to assure you that we are wholeheartedly committed to the wellbeing, development and education of every child entrusted to our care. We appreciate that you as parents want the best start in life for your child.  It is our aim to do all we can to help.

It is widely accepted that whilst learning is instinctive in children it is not linked to any particular timescale and that rates of progress differ from one child to another.  We understand this.  We appreciate that each child is special and unique and that they develop skills at different speeds.  It is our job to recognise those needs, encourage their individual qualities and do all we can to help the children in our care develop educational and social skills so that they can form sound relationships with their peers and integrate easily into school life.

As part of this we continually monitor each child’s progress and share this information with parents.

We believe that nursery education should be an extension of home life where children gain experience and confidence through play. We do of course want the children to enjoy their time with us, but play is not only fun, it also provides the opportunity for children to develop strategies for future learning.  With this in mind we carefully plan our sessions to include a range of different activities and free play.

It is our strong belief that, like parents, we are in the business of making memories. We want your child to enjoy their time with us so that as they move on to primary school they will think fondly of their time spent at Jacaranda Nursery.
